Justin Rigby
Principal and Managing Director
Justin is an accomplished board director, holds various committee positions, is a certified corrosion technologist and Level 3 Coating Inspector (AMPP, ICorr) with expertise in protective coatings, failure analysis, and materials durability. Since 1994, he has advised on over 500 projects involving concrete repair, coatings in harsh environments, and corrosion of steel structures. His knowledge spans international specifications, surface preparation, quality assurance, and litigation support as a subject matter expert in coating performance.

Arash is an AMPP Certified level 3 International Coating Inspector, with over 15 years of professional experience in corrosion prevention and protective coatings. Arash has designed and inspected several protective coating systems in a variety of projects.Arash is the lead auditor of quality management (ISO 9001), environmental (ISO 14001), and WH&S systems.

Rachelle Rigby
Marketing & Events Manager
Rachelle has been in the events and marketing industry for over 15 years. Rachelle’s experience stems from her qualification in video and digital marketing as well as her vast experience running events and conferences for the corrosion industry. Rachelle is also the current Vice Chair of the AMPP Conference and Events Program Committee.Rachelle currently holds her AMPP coating Inspector Program level one certification which provides her with a unique skillset and discipline required for the marketing and events department of RemedyAP.

Oscar has a life-long career in the areas of corrosion prevention and construction materials performance, and specialises in protective coatings and tank linings. He has specific skills in corrosion and coating condition surveys, materials selection, new construction and maintenance specifications, durability and constructability optimisation, design detailing, concrete protection and repair, failure analysis, construction supervision and inspection, staff training, development and implementation of QA systems and maintenance strategies.

Maxim Kovtun
Principal Materials Engineer - Durability
Maxim Kovtun graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering specialising in the production of building materials, products and structures and holds a PhD from the Belgorod State Technological University, Russia.After graduation, he worked in academia for before moving to consultancy and utility asset companies.Maxim has 20 years of hands-on experience in engineering and research and development of cementitious building materials, durability assessment and design, materials performance assessment, development of materials/durability/sustainability specifications and remedial strategies.

Scott de Groot

Scott has over 25 years of experience across various fields and locations of coating application and remediation. Scott has built his experience working across Australia in the automotive repair industry, industrial painting shops, rail maintenance facilities, onshore oil and gas plants, pipeline maintenance and construction, defence, marine shipyards and steel construction projects. Scott possess certifications in autobody refinishing technology (4573 - autobody refinishing technology). He is a trade qualified vehicle painter (MCTC119330) and an AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE CIP Level 2).

Joakim has a 20-year career in the corrosion prevention industry, specialising in protective coatings inspection and quality assurance. He is an AMPP Certified Coating Inspector (formerly NACE Level 2) with extensive experience in surface preparation, liquid and non-liquid coating applications, large-scale marine and bridge refurbishments, and maintenance of critical infrastructure across projects in Australia and New Zealand.Joakim has served as protective coatings maintenance lead on two major LNG facilities in North and South Taranaki, New Zealand, and has contributed to numerous high-profile industrial projects. In 2015, he led a refurbishment team that received the prestigious Australian Corrosion Association Rust Award for excellence in coatings work.Joakim is an active member of the ACA Applicator Technical Group and is committed to advancing industry practice through the application of his expertise in complex coatings projects. Joakim has a strong interest in new technologies, as well as in leadership and communication that support the development of people and teams.
